The Nukeproof Warhead seatpost has earned an enviable reputation as a strong, reliable and lightweight post that you can count on in all conditions.
The Nukeproof Warhead seatpost has earned an enviable reputation as a strong, reliable and lightweight post that you can count on in all conditions.
Custom-machined from high-grade 7075-series aluminium, the Warhead consists of a one-piece 400mm shaft and lower clamp section topped by a cold-forged clamp head, with both the upper and lower clamp and rail assemblies CNC-machined in critical stress areas for superior strength and fatigue resistance.
Meanwhile the shaft features an elliptical internal bore to further increase the strength to weight ratio by removing unnecessary material in key areas without compromising structural integrity.
The inline (zero-layback) Warhead post features the centre of the seat clamp mechanism in line with the centre line of the post shaft, to suit riders who prefer the riding position that this offers or for whom it is ergonomically more comfortable.
Infinitely adjustable for your preferred saddle position and available in three diameters, the Warhead is a seatpost built to take the hits of intense riding and racing without the weight penalty (weight is just 235g for 27.2mm diameter post).
The Warhead is available in Black Anodized, Silver Anodized or Nukeproof Yellow finishes.

Seatpost Installation Instructions:
1) Please make certain that your seat post's diameter matches the
inside diameter (I.D.) of your frame's seat tube before starting the
installation process If it matches, please continue to the next steps;
2) Remove the existing seatpost and/or saddle, if necessary;
3) Remove the saddle clamp bolt and disassemble the clamp parts
Lubricate all the bolt threads and the underside of the bolt head with a
high-Quality grease;
4) Reassemble the lubricated parts, leaving the bolt threaded halfway through the nut;
5) Place the saddle's rails into the lower half (cradle) of the clamp.
Turn the upper half of the clamp so that it fits onto the tops of the
rails.
6) Tighten the clamp to the correct torque. Check your seatclamp
manufacturers torque settings. Be careful not to tighten beyond these
maximum limits, as damage to both the seatpost and saddle rails could
result;
7) Check that the installed seatpost and saddle do not rotate or slip
when pressure is applied to them. Make sure that the ridges inside the
clamp are matched against each other, assuring a slip-resistant
connection.
NOTE: Occasionally, the difference between the specified inner diameter of the seat tube and the specified outer diameter of the seatpost may be greater than specified. If the seatpost clamps cannot be clamped securely enough for all riding conditions when the clamps are tightened within specifications, you may have to try a different size seatpost to insure proper, safe installation. Please check with your dealer if you have any Questions about the fit and compatibility of different components.
