Generator Wheels

The Nukeproof Generator Race factory wheelset has been developed to answer the needs of hard-hitting riders across a range of mtb disciplines, offering superior performance, durability, strengh and versatility without the weight penalty.

At the heart of the wheelset is the Nukeproof Generator hub, cold-forged from 7075-series aluminium for optimum strength and fatigue resistance, and with extensive CNC machining to shave excess weight without compromising structural integrity. With 32-hold construction and IS 6-bolt disc rotor mounts as standard, their light weight belies their ability to take hard knocks.

Generator Race front wheels run on two sealed cartridge bearings and are available in 15mm/QR and 20mm/Qr thru-axle options, with a supplied conversion kit to alternate between standards.

Generator Race rear wheels feature a total of five sealed cartridge bearings and six pawls with leaf springs for positive engagement, and a hard anodized alloy cassette carrier. Axle options cater to the needs of all riders with  135mm/QR, 135mm/12mm and 150mm/12mm available.

All Nukeproof Generator Race wheels are laced onto Nukeproof Generator Race wheels using 32 plain-gauge DT Swiss spokes. Based on the race-proven MTX 29 rim by Sun Ringlé the Generator Race rim is welded for strength with a width of 29mm to enable secure mounting of large-volume tyres.
