Our team of discerning testers (our own kids) have high standards — single-speed gearing to keep things simple in those first pedalling days and short-reach brake levers so even the smallest hands can engage the disc brakes  when things get rowdy. The Cub Scout 16” is stabiliser compatible for riders still mastering their balance, and like the rest of the range, it features a low standover height and adjustable saddle to keep the fit dialled as they grow. Off-road tyres deliver maximum grip, while lightweight wheels help reduce tired legs — everything they need for bigger smiles and longer rides.
