A mountain bike gem: Kelsey Urban’s Stars and Stripes bike

According to cycling lore, the history of mountain biking began in California. To this day, the discipline remains hugely popular there. That makes it a great honor for KMC Nukeproof to have the American Cross-Country Olympic champion Kelsey Urban (27) on the team. Especially for her, Nukeproof created a unique version of the Hyperfly, made possible thanks to the in-house paint facility at the Belgian factory.

Team camp and first podium of the year for KMC-Nukeproof

KMC Nukeproof MTB is fully preparing for the new season. At the start of the year, the team travelled to La Xara, a charming village on the Costa Blanca that is well known among cyclists. The training camp was combined with the first races of the season. Kelsey Urban immediately secured the team’s first podium finish of the year in La Nucia.

Nukeproof becomes bike partner and title sponsor of the KMC Nukeproof Mountainbike Racing Team

Nukeproof further expands its presence at the very highest level of mountain bike racing. For the next three seasons, Nukeproof will officially become Bike Partner and second title sponsor of the KMC Nukeproof Mountainbike Racing Team.
