Nukeproof Kilowatt with Avinox: The Power to Ride Everywhere

Both frames feature Nukeproof’s signature single-piece suspension linkage, increasing stiffness between the front and rear triangles while delivering a more direct ride feel. Internal cable routing has been engineered using a tube-in-tube system, ensuring easy maintenance while maintaining a clean and streamlined aesthetic.

During the development of the Kilowatt, the Avinox system was deliberately selected for its unique combination of power, weight, range, and compact integration. The goal was to create an e-bike that rides as closely as possible to an analogue mountain bike, and thanks to Avinox’s compact battery options, this was successfully achieved. The Carbon Factory model weighs just 22.2 kg (size medium, without pedals), with no compromises in performance or specification.

The Kilowatt’s specification has been carefully curated with durable, high-quality components specifically suited to e-MTB riding. Several models are equipped with powerful SRAM Maven brakes, while the entry-level model features DB4 brakes. The carbon models are fitted with DT Swiss e-bike wheelsets, and the entire range comes with Schwalbe tyres designed for demanding gravity use. The carbon models also feature tyres with radial construction for enhanced control and grip.

All models are equipped with an integrated 800Wh battery, except for the smallest frame size, which uses a 600Wh battery due to downtube length constraints. The decision to use a non-removable battery was made to achieve the cleanest and most integrated frame design possible, based on our own experience as riders. Across the range, the Avinox M2S motor is used, except on the entry-level model, which features the Avinox M2. In doing so, Nukeproof remains committed to delivering high-performance bikes at a price point accessible to more riders. With a starting price of €4,499 and a top-tier model at €8,999, the Kilowatt offers exceptional value within the high-performance e-MTB segment.
