Bloeme Kalis returns to the top five at the UCI World Series in Andorra
Following the podium finish in La Thuile, KMC Nukeproof MTB Racing Team once again confirmed its strong form during the sixth round of the UCI Mountain Bike World Series in Pal Arinsal (Andorra) last weekend. Bloeme Kalis once again impressed with a fifth place in the U23 Short Track (XCC) and a sixth place in the Olympic cross-country race (XCO). Rens Teunissen Van Manen also secured another top-ten finish.
After claiming second place in La Thuile, Bloeme Kalis arrived in Andorra full of confidence. On the high-altitude course, the Dutch rider once again demonstrated why she is considered one of the strongest U23 talents of the moment. She finished an impressive fifth in the U23 Short Track, while teammate Carla Hahn also delivered a strong performance by taking eighth place. Those results earned both riders a front-row start for Sunday's XCO race.
Kalis remained at the front of the race throughout the Olympic cross-country event as well. She delivered another consistent performance and eventually crossed the finish line in sixth place. Carla Hahn wrapped up her weekend with a nineteenth-place finish.

Rens returns to the top ten
In the U23 men's category, Rens Teunissen Van Manen once again proved his consistency. After previous top results in Lenzerheide and La Thuile, he finished thirteenth in the Short Track and tenth in the XCO in Andorra, securing yet another valuable top-ten result in the World Series.
In the elite men's races, Tom Schellekens delivered a solid performance to finish 46th. For the first-year elite rider, it marks another important step forward at the highest level. Tyler Orschel finished 30th in the XCC and 57th in the XCO.
The elite women's races also featured Kelsey Urban and Lia Schrievers. Urban finished nineteenth in the Short Track and 28th in the XCO, while Schrievers crossed the line in 30th and 31st place respectively.

After six rounds of the UCI Mountain Bike World Series, the international mountain bike peloton takes a short break this weekend for the National Championships. For KMC Nukeproof MTB Racing Team, it will be another busy weekend with riders competing across several countries.
Bloeme Kalis, Rens Teunissen Van Manen and Tom Schellekens will line up at the Dutch National Championships. Carla Hahn, Julian Schelb and Lia Schrievers will represent the team in Germany, while Tyler Orschel (Canada), Kelsey Urban (United States) and Oleksandr 'Sasha' Hudyma (Ukraine) will compete for their respective national titles.
